About Family & Consumer Sciences
The Family and Consumer
Sciences program in Clark County strives to build strong families through
educational programming. Programs focus on the following issues:
-
Improve nutrition and lifestyle
choices from infancy through retirement;
-
Manage time, money and other
resources;
-
Address community health and
environmental concerns;
-
Manage the multiple roles of
work and family life;
-
Build strong families though
relationship skills, conflict management skills, and shared values.
These issues are addressed through
programs offered in the community, newsletters offering information on
these specific issues, and information offered via new technologies, such
as this website.
