Camp Counselor Information

 

Apply to Become a 2026 Clark County 4-H Camp Counselor

Who Can Apply?

  • Teens, 14 years of age and older by Jan. 1, 2026, and in at least the 8th grade.
  • Youth do not have to be current 4-H members to apply, but must enroll as 4-H members for the upcoming camp year.

What are the application requirements?

  • Complete on-line application by midnight Dec. 1, 2025 at go.osu.edu/2026clarkco4hcampcounselorcitapp
  • Provide 2 non-family adult references.
  • Participate in an interview with 4-H camp staff. Register for an interview time in the application link. 
  • First time applicants will participate in a group skills assessment as part of the interview.
  • Returning camp counselors must complete the online counselor/cit post assessment by Dec. 7. Go to go.osu.edu/2025clarkco4hcampcounselorcitassessment
  • Agree to and sign the Standards of Behavior, Camp Code of Conduct and Clark County Camp Counselor/CIT Commitment and Contract.
