All trainings held and program materials must be picked up and returned to the Clark County Extension Office, 3130 East Main Street, Springfield, OH 45505.

Developed by science educators at The Ohio State University, and guided by OSU Extension 4-H Youth Development Extension Educators, each 4-H School Enrichment program is targeted to meet selected science proficiency goals identified in Ohio's State Science Competency model.   Students will learn important concepts through a variety of hands-on science, math, language arts, art, social studies and social skills activities provided through each  4-H School Enrichment Program.

Each participating classroom will be charged an annual $35.00 program fee to participate in the Clark County 4-H School Enrichment Program.  This fee covers the cost of supplies, materials, books, and administrative costs associated with registration in up to 2 programs per classroom.  You may use additional programs for an extra fee.  If your classroom or school is interested in participating in this program, please contact the Extension Office at 937-398-7599 or 937-398-7597. We look forward to working with teachers and students together as we strive "To Make the Best Better"within the 4-H Program and your classroom.

4-H AFTER-SCHOOL is a great avenue for young people to have FUN while developing lifelong SKILLS and HANDS-ON learning in a safe, healthy, enriching environment. The "learn by doing" curricula engage youth in topics from leadership to citizenship, science and technology to plants and animals. Youth can participate in 4-H projects as an after-school club or focus on specialized 4-H programs as an extension of the existing youth organizations/schools after-school program. Staff training, after-school curricula and volunteer resources are available to help start 4-H after-school programming at you site.
Currently, Clark County 4-H is partnering with three youth serving organizations to conduct after-school 4-H programming. Contact us to learn more about the 4-H Afterschool program for your school, community center or other youth serving organization, house.18@osu.edu or 937-398-7599.
