OSU Extension Clark County assists in developing the first Clark County Local Foods Council

OSU Extension Staff and Master Gardener Volunteers of Clark County were involved in starting a local foods effort in Clark County in 2015.  Four Food Summit events were held to introduce the public and stakeholders to the local foods movement.  Upon the completion of the Food Summit events and several stakeholder meetings, a team came together and drafted the first strategic plan and bylaws for the council in 2018.  Today the CCLFC meets monthly to discuss issuses such as food access, marketing, entrepreneurship, and education.  For more information, contact any of the members below.
