The ServSafe program is the industry standard in food-safety training. The ServSafe program provides accurate, up-to-date information for all levels of employees in handling food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving.

Person In Charge Food Safety Training
(Level 1)

Following completion of this 5 hour course, your employee will receive a certificate of completion. This class meets the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Health's Level One certification in Food Protection.

2024 Dates: February 13, June 18, August 13

Time: 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Location: Springview Government Center, Ground Level Meeting Room, 3130 East Main Street, Springfield, OH

Cost: $40.00 per employee (includes course materials and handouts)
This program requires a minimum number of registrants.

Who Should Attend: It is appropriate for food handlers at restaurants, convenience stores, schools and civic groups who prepare food for sale.

ServSafe™ Manager Training
(Level 2)

You will learn new and revised food safety and health regulations in this sixteen hour class. Following successful examination, you will be certified by the National Restaurant and the Ohio Department of Health.

2024 Dates: January 25 and February 1, May 2 and 9, August 1 and 8, October 10 and 17

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Location: Springview Government Center, Ground Level Meeting Room, 3130 East Main Street, Springfield, OH

Cost: $175.00 per manager (includes course materials, handouts, lunch and snack breaks)
This program requires a minimum number of registrants.

Who Should Attend: Owners, general managers, mid-level managers and key employees.

**Cancellation Policy**

Registration fees cannot be refunded. If notification of your inability to attend is received prior to the first session of the program, your paid registration will be honored at the next program offered by OSU Extension Clark County. You must be officially enrolled in the new class prior to its registration deadline.
