Clark County Extension is currently recruiting potential volunteers for the Master Gardener Volunteer program.  If you are interested, please read through the following materials in order to understand the requirements for the program.  Training will be held January 27 - April 7, 2022 on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Potential volunteers need to make all classes.  If there are circumstances where you might have to miss a class, we will make attempts to help you make it up.

Cost of the training is $150.00 and requires an online background check (approximately $35.00).  You will recieve a manual, t-shirt and all of the speakers and resources necessary.  Upon completion of the training, you are required to complete 50 hours of service on a variety of projects.

To apply for the 2022 MGV training class online, go to:  Hands on Connect   Click on potential volunteers at the top and create a new account.  Once you have an account, you go back to potential volunteers and click on about the program - then click on fill out an application.

To apply hard copy, print the application and return to the Extension Office before Nov. 30, 2021.
